Hamilton students hold rally supporting alum, calling for Cuomo's impeachment

Students at Hamilton College are holding a rally 4 p.m. today to support alum Charlotte Bennett and call for Gov. Andrew Cuomo's impeachment.

Bennett, who graduated from Hamilton College in 2017 and worked as an aide in the Cuomo Administration until November 2020, was the second of seven women alleging sexual harassment by the governor.

"I think that it was heavy news to hear someone you know and … someone that you look up to has been hurt," said Nicole Eisenberg, a 22-year-old senior at Hamilton. "I think a lot of students at Hamilton College really took this to heart.
