New York Assembly Begins Impeachment Investigation Of Cuomo

With a majority of elected legislators now having called for Governor Cuomo's resignation and/or impeachment, it was just a matter of time before the New York Assembly would begin impeachment-related proceedings:

Saying that the "reports of accusations concerning the governor are serious," Democratic leaders of the New York State Assembly announced Thursday that they will form a judiciary committee with subpoena powers to begin an impeachment investigation of Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

It appears they will be focusing on the sexual harassment allegations, which appears to be the strategy for minimizing damage to the majority Democratic Party members in New York.
