- Report of Investigation Into Allegations of Sexual Harassment by Governor Andrew M. Cuomo
-
This 168 page report contains New York State Attorney General's findings indicating Andrew M. Cuomo engaged in the sexual harassment of multiple women and also that he and senior members of his administration engaged in retaliation against his victims after they came forward to report the misconduct.
The report also indicates Cuomo broke both state and federal law. Here is an excerpt of New York State Attorney General Letitia James' remarks from her announcement of the report's findings:
“The investigation has concluded that Gov. Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women and, in doing so, violated federal and state law. Specifically, the investigation found that Gov. Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed current and former New York state employees by engaging in unwelcome and non-consensual touching and making numerous offensive comments of a suggestive and sexual nature that created a hostile work environment for women. The investigators independently corroborated and substantiated these facts through interviews and evidence, including contemporaneous notes and communications.”
In other words, the investigators did what they were supposed to do in conducting an independent investigation.
