- Cuomo dodges questions regarding sexual misconduct scandal at remote briefing
-
Cuomo mostly dodged answering a question about the allegations of sexual harassment that have been levied against him by no fewer than nine women during a virtual press conference he held on Wednesday, 21 April 2021. But what he answered while trying to dodge the question asked falls on the creepy side of the scale:
While Gov. Andrew Cuomo has been limiting questions from reporters in recent weeks, he was asked Wednesday about his sexual misconduct scandal at a virtual press conference.
Cuomo has already come out to say that he never meant to make anyone feel uncomfortable in his presence but, reiterated on Wednesday that it is in his nature to kiss and hug people.
Governor Cuomo also dodged answering the question of whether he would resign should investigators find he committed sexual harassment, saying he would wait to see what the review said.
Of course, there were at least two people present at each of the alleged sexual harassment episodes involving Governor Andrew Cuomo, one of them being Governor Andrew Cuomo. He certainly would not need to wait for any investigation findings to respond to each allegation. Unless his PR people and legal advisors have determined that would not go well for him from a PR and a legal perspective.
